MOSCOW. Jan 9 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a directive dated December 31 allowing the engagement of Russian military specialists in launches of UK satellites OneWeb from the Baikonur and Vostochny cosmodromes, the directive posted on the government website on Saturday says.
"The Russian Defense Ministry shall be allowed to use space systems and military equipment and engage military personnel on a contractual basis for launching OneWeb (UK) spacecraft from the Baikonur and Vostochny cosmodromes using Soyuz-2 (stage 16) launch vehicles," it said.
