MOSCOW. Jan 28 (Interfax) - Russia and Turkey will take additional efforts toward separating terrorists from the armed opposition in Syria, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We had a detailed discussion of this issue [the Idlib situation] with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on the phone yesterday, and we agreed to streamline our effort toward fulfilling the agreement on separating the armed opposition, which is patriotic and is ready to participate in the political process, from forces designated as terrorist by the UN Security Council," Lavrov said at a press conference on Tuesday.
