MOSCOW. Jan 29 (Interfax) - Wafa Shabrouney, a correspondent for RT in Syria, has been injured in the country's Idlib Governorate, RT said in a post on its Telegram channel RT in Russian.
"The team was filming ammo depots left behind by militants who retreated from the city of Maarat al-Numan. According to preliminary information, one of the shells exploded," the post said.
Shabrouney is being taken to the Hama City Hospital after receiving treatment in Khan Shaykhun, it said.
