MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The Syrian army has destroyed over 20 items of hardware delivered by Turkey to militants in the Idlib de-escalation area this week, a Russian military-diplomatic source said on Saturday.
"The governmental forces destroyed over 20 Turkish tanks and infantry fighting vehicles supplied to militants while repelling terrorists' attacks in the past week alone," the source said.
"Turkish vehicles, controlled quite poorly by untrained crews of militants from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham [banned in Russia] have been recorded by Syrians among attacking terrorists with an increasing frequency and are becoming targets to strike," the source said.
