MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin has discussed the situation in Syria with Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali.
"The parties had a substantive exchange of opinions on the relevant regional agenda, including the situation in Syria, placing emphasis on the continued coordination of efforts within the framework of the Astana format," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
