Libya truce holds for over a month - Russian Foreign Ministry (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - The Libya truce declared on January 12 has been generally observed, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said.

"The truce declared by al-Sarraj and Haftar on January 12 is actually holding, despite certain violations committed by both parties," Bogdanov said at the Russian Public Chamber.

"The situation may look ambiguous," but Moscow still thinks that Libya is capable of achieving national reconciliation, he said.

"For our part, we will continue working with all Libyan parties. As you know, we have established contact with Tripoli, Benghazi, and the parallel governments," Bogdanov said.
