Russia, China, U.S., Pakistan may meet for consultations on Afghanistan before intra-Afghan dialogue - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Russia, the United States, China, and Pakistan may gather for a new round of consultations on Afghanistan on the sidelines of an intra-Afghan dialogue, Russian presidential envoy for Afghanistan and Director of the Foreign Ministry's Second Asian Department Zamir Kabulov said.

"We agreed at the last meeting of the expanded Troika, that is, the three nations plus Pakistan, which was held in Beijing, that the next meeting will take place right before and on the sidelines of intra-Afghan negotiations," Kabulov said at a press conference on Tuesday.

"So, if this happens, taking into account all reservations, we will certainly be there," he said.
