Aeroflot plane lands successfully in Perm after receiving bomb threat

PERM. March 19 (Interfax) - An Aeroflot plane which was en route from Moscow to Perm carrying 64 passengers has successfully landed at the international airport in Perm, Bolshoye Savino, despite a message concerning a possible bomb on board, the Perm airport's press secretary Yevgeny Kuznetsov told Interfax on Thursday.

"The plane has successfully landed and is now in the parking lot; the relevant services will examine it," Kuznetsov said.

The plane was carrying 64 passengers and five crewmembers, he said.

Interfax has not yet received comment from the airline.

According to earlier reports, an Aeroflot plane received a message concerning a possible bomb after leaving Moscow for Perm on Thursday.
