N. Korea did not make new requests for aid from Russia after receiving 1,500 coronavirus test kits on Feb 26 - embassy

MOSCOW. March 30 (Interfax) - North Korea has not asked Russia for aid in countering the spread of the new coronavirus, the Russian embassy in Pyongyang told Interfax.

"After 1,500 coronavirus express test kits were given to the DPRK [Democratic People's Republic of Korea] on February 26, we have not received any new requests for aid from Pyongyang," the embassy said.
