Ukraine performs second test of Neptun missile system in Black Sea

KYIV. April 3 (Interfax) - The second successful test of the Ukrainian-made Neptun missile system has taken place at the Alibi range in the Black Sea, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said.

"The second successful test. A Neptun missile has accurately hit seaborne targets at the Alibi range in the Black Sea. The Neptun missile has a range of up to 100 km," Danilov said on Facebook on Friday, posting a video of the missile test launch.

On April 1, Danilov said that Ukraine had successfully performed another test of a Vilkha-M missile on March 30-31, when for the first time in Ukraine a target located 120 km away was hit in closed circuit conditions. Danilov then emphasized that "no coronavirus will stop the implementation of the Ukrainian missile program."
