MOSCOW. April 7 (Interfax) - Up to 20 warships and support vessels of the Baltic Sea are practicing in the high seas, the fleet press service said in a statement obtained by Interfax on Tuesday.
"The crews will fire missiles and artillery at various types of seaborne and airborne targets. The sailors will also practice response to radiation and chemical emergencies and ship survivability efforts," the statement said.
"Up to 20 ships, boats, and supply vessels are participating" in the training. the statement said.
The statement noted that it was a scheduled exercise.
