MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - The coronavirus situation may prompt an adjustment of the State Defense Order, but Rostec facilities must continue working, the state corporation's head Sergei Chemezov said.
"The peak of the disease in Russia has yet to be passed. But despite this fact, we must take the blow and maintain the work of the domestic industry even in such difficult conditions," Chemezov said in an address published on the Rosoboronexport website on Wednesday.
"Today, Rostec is focused on issues such as a possible increase in advance payments under our contracts. The corporation's primary task is to fulfill the assignments of the State Defense Order. If necessary, we will elaborate measures to support entities, including an adjustment of the State Defense Order, together with the Russian Defense Ministry and other government customers," Chemezov said.
