MOSCOW. April 14 (Interfax) - Russia's Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, spoke by telephone to Libya's House of Representatives speaker Agila Saleh on Tuesday at the latter's request.
"In the course of the conversation, the [pair] discussed the latest military-political developments in and around Libya. The Russian side reaffirmed its position in favor of an inclusive intra-Libyan dialogue which would lead to the creation of effective government institutions in Libya, capable of ensuring the unity, territorial integrity and sovereignty of this country which has been traditionally friendly to us," the Russian Foreign Ministry stated on its website.
