KYIV. April 15 (Interfax) - The next mutual release of detainees by Ukraine and the certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions should take place before Easter, the OSCE Chairperson's Special Representative in Ukraine and the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Heidi Grau said in a press statement dated April 14.
Its details have been approved, Grau said.
"Following up on the in-principle agreement reached by the Trilateral Contact Group with the participation of representatives of the certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, the TCG Working Group on humanitarian issues coordinated the details today of a mutual release and exchange of detainees related to the conflict in eastern Ukraine," she said.
"The mutual release and exchange will take place in due time ahead of Orthodox Easter," Grau said.
Ukraine's Human Rights Commissioner Luidmyla Denisova said earlier that the next stage of prisoner exchange in Donbas may take place this week.
"There are agreements on mutual release; it will be another stage of the 'all for all' release, but today, you understand, I won't say when it will be and whom we will return in order for it to happen. As soon as such information may be provided, I will definitely provide it," Denisova said on the Ukraine 24 television channel.
All people returning to Ukraine will undergo mandatory observation, she said.
