MOSCOW. April 16 (Interfax) - Twenty prisoners have been handed over to Ukraine, and 14 have returned to Donetsk and Luhansk, Russian representative to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) Boris Gryzlov said.
"Exchanges between Kyiv and Donetsk and between Kyiv and Luhansk were accomplished today. In all, 20 detainees were handed over to Kyiv today, and 14 people managed to return to Donetsk and Luhansk. The parties reaffirmed that grounds for continuing prosecution of the returnees have been expunged," Gryzlov said.
"We have agreed that the parties and the intermediaries will discuss further exchange efforts at the next meeting of the Contact Group. We should be progressing toward an 'all for all' exchange between Kyiv and Donbas," he said.
