MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - Courts in Moscow will not fully resume their operations until the end of May, Moscow City Court press secretary Ulyana Solopova told Interfax on Friday.
"The working regime of general jurisdiction courts in Moscow, which is in effect between April 8 and May 11, 2020, will continue until May 31, 2020," Solopova said.
People who are not parties to the proceedings, including journalists, will still be banned from entering court buildings, she said. Moscow judges will be hearing urgent cases, while all other hearings will be held consistent with the actual circumstances of the cases and the opinions of the parties.
"Any changes to the working regime of general jurisdiction courts in Moscow which result from an improvement in the sanitary and epidemiological situation will be reported when they emerge," Solopova said.
