MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Tanks and armored vehicles of the Black Sea Fleet's coastal defense are practicing defensive and offensive actions in Crimea, the fleet said in a statement on Thursday.
"BTR-82 armored vehicles and T-72B3 tanks are conducting firing using standard weapons at targets simulating armored vehicles, artillery and anti-tank guns of a hypothetical enemy," the statement obtained by Interfax said.
The exercise is a routine one. The training takes place "at different times of the day on combat training firing ranges on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula," the Black Sea Fleet headquarters said.
