MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax) - The Czech government's decision to expel two Russian diplomats is an unfriendly step based on groundless allegations, the Russian embassy in Prague said on Friday.
"The Russian embassy to the Czech Republic received a note from the Czech Foreign Ministry on June 5, notifying it of the expulsion of two Russian diplomatic mission employees," the embassy said.
"We're dealing with a fabricated provocation. This unfriendly step, which has been based on groundless media allegations all along, indicates Prague's unwillingness to normalize Russian-Czech relations, which have deteriorated lately through no fault of our own," it said.
