MOSCOW. June 23 (Interfax) - There has been no progress in reconciling the stances of Russia and the United States on the extension of the New START Treaty, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told Interfax on Tuesday.
"We haven't observed any changes in the U.S. stance on the extension issue. They keep mulling over the issue, while we have conveyed our logic to them and will continue to do so. Time is running out," Ryabkov said following Russian-U.S. consultations in Vienna, when asked whether the parties have reconciled their stances on the matter.
