MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and Israeli National Security Advisor Meir Ben-Shabbat discussed cooperation and efforts against coronavirus in a telephone call on Friday, the Russian Security Council press service said.
"Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev has had a telephone call with Israeli National Security Council Director Meir Ben-Shabbat. The parties discussed a number of issues pertaining to Russian-Israeli security cooperation and exchanged opinions on the international situation. They particularly addressed efforts against the new coronavirus infection," it said.
Ben-Shabbat congratulated Patrushev on the successful holding of the voting on amendments to the constitution. "Mentioning the great significance of the Victory Parade held on June 24, the Israeli National Security Council director assured the Russian side of Israel's unvarying policy of preserving historical memory of WWII," it said.
