KYIV. July 9 (Interfax) - The Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) preliminary coordinated 13 demining areas in Donbas and the possible clearing of another seven areas at the videoconference on Wednesday.
"The OSCE acknowledged the substantial progress made in the elaboration of an updated demining plan. Within the framework of those efforts and in furtherance of the agreements reached at the Normandy-format summit in Paris, 13 demining areas received preliminary coordination with the possibility of clearing another seven areas in the later period," the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine said after the meeting.
Seeking to boost security efforts, the Ukrainian delegation initiated the holding of an additional meeting of the relevant TCG subgroup on July 14.
