New agreements on Donbas ceasefire to take effect on July 27 - Gryzlov

MOSCOW. July 23 (Interfax) - The Contact Group on Ukraine has agreed on additional measures regarding the Donbas ceasefire, Russian representative at the Contact Group talks Boris Gryzlov told reporters.

"After opposing them [measures] for nearly five months, the Ukrainian side had courage to agree on those measures concerning the ceasefire, which were repeatedly proposed by Donetsk and Luhansk. The measures to enforce the ceasefire between Kyiv and Donbas are to take effect on July 27," Gryzlov said.

The Russian delegation welcomes this decision.

"In this respect, one cannot help being satisfied," he said.
