DONETSK. July 27 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces are abiding by the ceasefire on the contact line in Donbas, the mission of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said on Monday.
"As of 10:00 a.m., JCCC monitors have not observed any such violations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the mission said.
Luhansk earlier also reported the absence of truce breaches by the Ukrainian military.
"The mission of the LPR [self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic] to the JCCC and to the negotiating process did not record any ceasefire violations by armed units of Ukraine as of July 26, 2020," it said.
No breaches by Ukraine of the open-ended truce enacted at 00:01 a.m. on July 27 have been observed, either, it said.
At a meeting on July 22, the participants in the Trilateral Contact Group for Donbas agreed to launch a set of additional measures to monitor the truce starting at 00:01 a.m. on July 27. Among other requirements, they include a ban on the activities of sabotage and reconnaissance groups and a ban on the use of gunfire, including sniper fire.
