BISHKEK. July 27 (Interfax) - Russian military doctors who earlier came to Kyrgyzstan to help combat coronavirus have examined 70 patients in a military hospital in Bishkek.
Twelve Russian intensive care and general physicians and anesthesiologist nurses analyzed the treatment of all patients, including four people in serious condition, and made adjustments to the treatment algorithm, the Russian Defense Ministry said. The doctors have now organized a round-the-clock on-duty post to monitor all patients.
"The approaches to treatment are approximately the same. We discussed the treatment and diagnostics methods, made some adjustments because we have experience of treating patients in serious condition," Russian Defense Ministry's medical team head Lieut. Col. Innokentiy Zabarin said.
The experience of Russian doctors in combating the coronavirus is in demand, as the number of coronavirus cases is falling in Russia, Kyrgyz military hospital commander Maj. Kanatbek Kadraliyev said.
Earlier an Ilyushin Il-76 of the Russian Military Transport Aviation brought medical equipment and six medical teams from the Chkalovsky airfield, Moscow region to the Kant airbase, which is a part of the 14th Air Force and Air Defense Army of Russia's Central Military District. Four medical teams were dispatched to Bishkek and two to Osh.
