MINSK. Aug 3 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree On Discharge and Conscription for Military Service, Service in Reserve, the presidential press service said on Monday.
"The document envisages conscription in August-November 2020 for military service and service in reserve of male citizens of Belarus who turned 18 by the day of conscription and who are not eligible for deferment, and citizens of a conscription age who have lost their right to deferment," the press service said in its report.
"The fulfilment of the decree will make it possible to meet the needs of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations for conscripts and reservists," the press service said.
The document also envisages discharge in reserve for conscripts who have served their time.
