BAKU. Aug 10 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will pay an official visit to Turkey on Tuesday, August 11, the press service for the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
"The Azerbaijani foreign minister will arrive in Turkey on August 11 on an official visit. This is Bayramov's first foreign visit as foreign minister," the press service said.
According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Bayramov will exchange views with his Turkish colleague Mevlut Cavusoglu on bilateral and regional issues and global affairs.
Bayramov became head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry on July 16, 2020, amid the escalation of tensions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Elmar Mammadyarov previously held the position.
