MOSCOW. Aug 10 (Interfax) - The Army 2020 forum will get a Navy cluster for the first time, Russian Navy Commander Nikolai Yevmenov said in a statement obtained by Interfax on Monday.
"It is for the first time that a Navy cluster will be created within the framework of the forum. It will display models of modern and advanced ships and submarines, and the latest technical developments for the Navy," the Russian Defense Ministry quoted Yevmenov as saying in the statement.
"The core elements of the Navy cluster include a static exposition of weapons, military and special hardware, a dynamic demonstration of full-size models, and exhibit stands of the defense companies that develop naval arms and special equipment," he said.
The Army 2020 forum will take place on August 23-29. This year the list of its venues will grow with the Ashuluk firing range, where a unique system of combating drones will be shown. The forum's business program will include 170 events.
