KOMSOMOLSK-ON-AMUR. Aug 12 (Interfax) - The Russian Armed Forces will sign an additional contract with the value of 70 billion rubles for the delivery of Sukhoi Su-35 generation 4++ fighters, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"Before the end of this year, we plan to sign an additional government contract for the delivery of Sukhoi Su-35S multirole planes. The contract value will amount to 70 billion rubles," Shoigu said at a meeting with defense sector representatives in Komsomolsk-on-Amur on Wednesday.
"In fact, we have come here to make sure that the enterprise is capable of fulfilling this contract," the minister said.
