MOSCOW. Aug 24 (Interfax) - The Kremlin is not holding negotiations with the Coordination Council of the Belarusian opposition, considering that such contacts would be an act of interference in Belarusian internal affairs, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"We have no channels of communication, and there have been no talks," Peskov said in response to the relevant question from the media.
"We don't have any precise knowledge of the opposition's platform or demands," he said.
"Anyway, establishing any contacts would constitute an act of interference in the internal affairs of Belarus," Peskov said.
Moscow criticizes "those who act in such manner," Peskov said. "We believe this is wrong and aren't going to do such things ourselves, at least during the so-called hot stage," he said.
