MINSK. Aug 28 (Interfax) - Minsk regards calls by foreign states to hold a new presidential election as an attempt to interfere in the country's internal affairs, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.
"We have carefully studied the content of numerous statements made by the leadership of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry about the Belarusian subject over the past few days. We totally share the point that any interference in Belarus' internal affairs is unacceptable. At the same time, we regard the assessments of interaction between Belarus and its allies and partners in integration groupings, the urgent calls for holding a new presidential election as an attempt to interfere in internal affairs," the Belarusian Foreign Ministry's press service said in a statement on Friday.
