Kyiv not engaged in any subversive activities against Minsk - Ukrainian FM

KYIV. Sept 2 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has rejected remarks made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov saying that radical actions during the protests in Belarus are being provoked and financed from Ukrainian territory.

"The 200 Ukrainian extremists Ukraine has allegedly sent to Belarus to destabilize the situation there and the presence of extremist training camps in Ukraine are the fruit of the sick imagination of those who have passed this information to my Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. [...] Ukraine hasn't been engaged in, isn't engaged in, and won't be engaged in any subversive activities against Belarus," Kuleba said on Facebook on Wednesday.

Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei in Moscow earlier on Wednesday that radical actions during demonstrations in Belarus are being provoked and financed from the territory of Ukraine.
