German FM promises to discuss reaction to Navalny's incident with EU, NATO partners already in coming days

BERLIN. Sept 2 (Interfax) - Berlin will discuss a reaction to the situation surrounding Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny with the European Union partners in the next few days, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said.

"We are condemning this attack quite seriously. We will immediately inform our EU and NATO partners via established channels. We will discuss with them in the next few days how we in Europe can respond to this in a well-balanced manner," Maas told reporters in Berlin on Wednesday.
