Moscow not ruling out that Germany's statements on Navalny give reason to some 'response measures' prepared in advance

MOSCOW. Sept 2 (Interfax) - Moscow assumes that Berlin is trying to give reason to some "response measures" against Russia by its statements on opposition activist Alexei Navalny.

"If the objectives lie in giving reason to some 'response measures' prepared in advance and already announced, it becomes clear why they resorted to megaphone diplomacy, the replacement of normal cooperation with an information campaign, public calls on the EU and NATO, and mentions of the OPCW," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement released on Wednesday.
