MOSCOW. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Moscow will respond firmly to any attempts to tear Belarus away from Russia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We will respond firmly to those who are trying to unsettle the situation in Belarus, who have been awkwardly flirting with Minsk for years in trying to tear Belarus away from Russia and undermine the foundations of the Union State's functioning," Lavrov said at a press conference on Wednesday.
Any reform in Belarus can be carried out based on its constitution and in compliance with law and order, Lavrov said.
