Federal Security Service found arms and ammo cache in Volgograd region

VOLGOGRAD. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Firearms and ammunition have been found in a cache in the Volgograd region, the Federal Security Service (FSB)'s regional branch said on Thursday.

"Four Kalashnikov rifles with ammunition, a night fire control sight, TNT charges and plastic explosives with the total weight nearing 3 kilograms, detonators, components for improvised explosive devices with remote control, hand grenades, mines and smoke charges were seized from the cache," the FSB said.

The weapons belonged to the leader of an organized criminal group, Vladimir Kadin, killed in 2011.
