MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has expressed immense concern over reports that mercenaries from illegal armed units in Syria and Libya are being transferred to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
"I'd refrain from further elaborating on this score. In fact, the Foreign Ministry's statement is quite unambiguous. It does voice extreme concern by the transfers of such people," Peskov told reporters on Thursday, when commenting on the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement that militants from Syria and Libya are being sent to the zone of fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh.
