BISHKEK. Oct 6 (Interfax) - Deputy of Kyrgyz parliament Asylbek Jeenbekov, brother of Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, has been beaten at a meeting with Osh residents in the center of the city, according to eyewitnesses who posted a video of the incident online.
Asylbek Jeenbekov has been on the party lists of candidates from the pro-government political party Birimdik (Unity), which won most seats on the Kyrgyz parliament at the October 4 election with 24.5% of the vote.
