Stepanakert says firing missiles only upon Azerbaijan's military sites

YEREVAN. Oct 6 (Interfax) - The Defense Army of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has insisted that it has fired missiles exclusively upon Azerbaijan's military targets, not civilians.

"Unlike the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, we don't strike on the civilian population. This isn't our style. Missile strikes from our side are launched upon the enemy's military sites in big cities, which is not subject to publication so far," Vahram Poghosyan, press secretary for the NKR president, wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

"I can say a large amount of the enemy's reserve forces have been destroyed, and heavy traffic congestions can be observed on the highways leading to Baku," he said.
