No plans so far for Russia-Armenia-Azerbaijan summit - Peskov

MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - There are currently no plans to hold a trilateral meeting of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, but Moscow welcomes any contacts able to put an end to the direct armed clashes, the Kremlin said.

"We only welcome any contacts that can help settle the situation and steer it out of the direct armed clashes phase," Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters when asked to what extent a trilateral meeting at the highest level could help settle the situation.

"Such a meeting is not being considered at this point," Peskov said.
