Situation in Belarus not requiring outside intervention - CSTO

MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) sees current protests in Belarus as the country's internal affair, which does not require intervention from outside, CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas told journalists on Thursday.

"We consider it to be a purely internal affair of the Republic of Belarus and we believe that [Belarus] will be able to handle it without outside intervention," Zas said.
