BISHKEK. Oct 9 (Interfax) - Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov has replaced Rayimberdi Duishenbiyev with Taalaibek Omuraliyev as the chief of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces General Staff, the presidential press service said on Friday.
"Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov has signed an executive order to relieve Rayimberdi Duishenbiyev of duties as the chief of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces General Staff," the press service said.
Another executive order of Jeenbekov appointed Taalaibek Omuraliyev to the position.
Earlier on Friday, Jeenbekov signed an executive order regarding resignation of the government and the prime minister.
The political crisis in Kyrgyzstan broke out on October 5.
