MOSCOW. Oct 9 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is so far not planning to meet with the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, who are to come to Moscow for consultations on Nagorno-Karabakh and should begin negotiations at 3:00 p.m. Moscow Time, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Work precisely at the level of foreign ministers is planned now," Peskov told journalists when asked whether Putin would meet with the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers while they are in Moscow.
"The foreign ministers are coming to Moscow, and they will begin working with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov today. We expect this meeting to begin at three o'clock in the afternoon," he said.
Asked whether some statements for the press before or after the consultations were planned, Peskov replied, "This is a question for the Foreign Ministry to answer, but I have no doubts that, if some results are achieved, our partners would be invited" to make a statement.
"After all, this is a matter of consensus, it take everyone's consent," he said.
Peskov was also asked about the agenda of the talks and whether the participants would discuss anything else apart from a ceasefire.
"Let's not run ahead of ourselves. Let's wait for the conclusion of these contacts," Peskov replied.
