Russia ends consultations with Australia, Netherlands on crash of Flight MH17 in Donbas - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - Moscow deems the continuation of trilateral consultations with Australia and the Netherlands on the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in the summer of 2014 to be pointless, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

"Without waiting even for the intermediate results of the consultations and after only three rounds, The Hague chose another path and filed an interstate claim against Russia with the ECHR [European Court of Human Rights]. Such unfriendly moves by the Netherlands make further trilateral consultations and our participation in them senseless," the statement said.
