YEREVAN. Oct 16 (Interfax) - Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau discussed the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone by telephone.
Pashinyan pointed out "Turkey's pernicious involvement in hostilities and the country's unacceptable intentions to gain a foothold in the South Caucasus region," the press service for the Armenian government said.
Pashinyan thanked Trudeau for suspending military supplies to Turkey.
"During the conversation [the participants] stressed the principled importance of the exercise of nations' right to self-determination in the Karabakh issue.
