BAKU. Oct 22 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan has established control over 22 more communities in Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev said.
"The Azerbaijani army liberated [...] three villages of the Fuzuli district, five districts of the Jabrayil district district and 12 villages of the Zengilan district," Aliyev wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
The villages that the Azerbaijani army took control of in the Fuzuli district are Gejegozlu, Ashagi, Seyidahmadli and Zerger, he said. The villages of the Jabrayil district are Baland, Papi, Tulus, Hajili and Tinli, he said. As for the Zengilan district, they are Minjivan, Khurama, Khumarli, Saril, Babayli, Uchunju Agali, Hajalli, Girakh Muslan, Udgun, Turabad, Ichari Muslan, Melikli, Jahangirbeyli and Baharli, he said.
On Tuesday, Aliyev said that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces took control over 25 districts in the Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Khojavend and Zengilan districts.
In all, Baku claims to have taken control over 121 communities, including three towns, Jabrayil, Fuzuli and Zengilan, since September 27.
