BAKU. Oct 23 (Interfax) - The number of civilians in populated areas of Azerbaijan who have been wounded in Armenian attacks has increased by five over the past 24 hours, reaching 298 since September 27, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office said on Friday.
The number of fatalities has not changed over the past 24 hours and is still 63.
"During intensive attacks by the Armenian Armed Forces on the cities and districts of Azerbaijan between September 27 and October 23, 63 civilians have been killed and 298 wounded, 2,156 houses and 90 apartment buildings have been made unfit for habitation, and 398 civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged," the Prosecutor General's Office said.
Reports of October 22 indicated that 63 civilians had been killed and 293 wounded.
The military action in Nagorno-Karabakh has lasted since September 27. Azerbaijan does not report its combat losses.
