Putin replaces ambassador to Slovakia

MOSCOW. Oct 26 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Alexei Fedotov as the Russian ambassador to Slovakia and appointed Igor Bratchikov to the position.

"[I order] to relieve Alexei Leonidovich Fedotov from the duties of the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Slovakia," the decree published on the Russian official legal information website on Friday says.

Putin issued another decree on Friday to appoint Igor Bratchikov to the post.

"To appoint Igor Borisovich Bratchikov as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Slovakia," the decree says.
