MOSCOW. Oct 28 (Interfax) - The Russian Army Corps deployed in the Kaliningrad region has received 30 modernized T-72B3M tanks, the Russian Baltic Fleet press service said on Wednesday.
"Thirty T-72B3M tanks with improved combat performance joined a motorized infantry unit of the Baltic Fleet's Army Corps deployed in the Kaliningrad region in 2020. The new hardware will bolster the unit's combat capability owing to improved maneuverability and the crew's armor protection," it said.
All of the tanks delivered to the Kaliningrad region were modernized at Uralvagonzavod in 2019.
