Five terror attacks prevented in Central Federal District in 2020 - Russian Security Council Secretary Patrushev

MOSCOW. Oct 30 (Interfax) - Five terror attacks have been prevented in Russia's Central Federal District in 2020, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said.

"Thanks to the work of security and law enforcement authorities, eight terrorist crimes, including five terror attacks, three of which were plotted in areas of mass gatherings, were prevented in the territory of the district," Patrushev said at a meeting with the senior officials of the Central Federal District.
