LUHANSK. Nov 2 (Interfax) - An extraordinary meeting of the security subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas settlement yielded no results on Friday, the foreign minister of the unrecognized Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) Vladislav Deinego said.
"The extraordinary videoconference of the workgroup on security issues lasted a little more than two hours but yielded no actual results," Deinego said in a statement following the group's videoconference on Friday.
Deinego accused the Ukrainian side of 'evading' efforts to agree on additional measures and a coordination mechanism on the monitoring of truce observance.
"Eventually, the Ukrainian delegation has once again blocked the discussion on an effective mechanism and a revised version of additional measures, which we proposed after Ukraine's withdrawal from the agreements dated July 22, 2020," he said.
